Very lovely little place and staff! On the expensive side but everything was very high standards and went down a treat. Very attentative on any allergies and preferences.

A lovely find in a beautiful location, with excellent friendly service. We only had tea and coffee served at the outside tables (sadly served in paper cups - the only slight negative). However the tranquility, and swift service with a smile made up for this. There seemed to be an extensive picnic/take out menu and also a good sit-down menu at the indoor cafe. There is ramped access to the cafe for peop with limited mobility, but steps to the shop, though I’m sure the attendant would come to the door to take orders. Well worth a visit.

What a beautiful little gem of a cafe. We came in for a little break while taking in the historical sites in the village. I had a really lovely oat milk flat white and poached eggs on sourdough which both really hit the spot. My parents each had a hot drink and shared a very generous slab of orange drizzle cake which my mum described as "scrumptious". The staff were very friendly and attentive at all times. I would go as far to say that any visit to Castle Acle wouldn't be completenl without a stop at Wittles!

We came across Wittles by chance and were so glad we did! What a lovely little cafe in a really pretty setting. The owners were so accommodating and friendly. It’s not often I get a dairy free option let alone a whole menu! So that was quite a nice surprise. The flat white coffee was very very good and the food was really delicious. I’ll definitely be making the 2hr journey there again, well worth it, especially if you make a stop at the Abbey.

There's no tea shop at the ruined abbey, but fear not, Whittles fills that gap wonderfully. The cake looked gorgeous but we opted for brunch, excellent. Really popular with local cycling clubs too (they all opted for the breakfast sandwich and a cuppa, plus a refill of the water bottle). We'll definitely come again

Stopped here for lunch after a lovely tour of the castle acre priory. Located right in the heart of town it has such a sweet charm. Outdoor tables were only for people waiting on take away (only disappointment). We were seated for lunch quickly and received attentive service. We opted for the afternoon tea with ham sandwiches and scones. Everything was delicious. Will definitely return for brunch and to get a picnic box for take away.

I had the avocado toast with an egg and added bacon, and the serving was much larger than I expected! The avocado was perfectly seasoned, and the balance of flavors was spot-on. The egg was cooked just right, and the crispy bacon added that extra touch. Honestly, I wanted to order another one, but it was so filling I don’t think I would have been able to walk afterward. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a satisfying, flavorful brunch!I would order another but I wouldn’t be able to walk

A lovely little gem of a cafe. After visiting the castle and priory we stopped for lunch. We had a delicious homemade soup and sandwiches. Very attentive hosts and would definitely recommend to others.
